Ridin' Around - July 2006

By Chad Lucas

Holy Accessories, Batman!
We think we'll just let the pictures speak 1,000 words on this one due to a lack of space (as well as being lazy). Richard Parker of Potosi, MO's '04 Ford Ranger 4x4 will have to wow you with visual appeal. Richard's elaborate Ranger attended 38 shows in '05 and managed to rake in 50 trophies. We don't know what else you could add to your truck, but we're sure that '06 will hold new products for your Ranger.

The Right Track
Jason Geroux of Old Town, ME, received his '95 S-10 from his dad at the ripe old age of 16. Since then it has gone through many phases. One phase was the popular canoe rack and large tire combo that we're all familiar with. After meeting his now best friend, Jason Savoy, his truck was put on the right path. Now Jason's ride sports a '03 Trailblazer front end, air ride with 3/4-inch Parker solenoids, killer video and stereo system, and 18-inch wheels. Jason would like to give a shout-out to his homies in Total Devastation Truck Club.

Xplowerd
This shining example of a '92 Ford Explorer is owned by Rick McKenzie of Baytow, TX. Rick's Explorer has already been dropped 3 inches all the way around and outfitted with 18-inch Alba Edge wheels. Xplowered's hood has been suicided with Buick hood hinges and has been painted white with blue pearl. The stereo is all fiberglassed and painted blue, with Audiobahn 12s. The custom console runs through the front and rear seats. Rick's ride is already in for 'bags and will hopefully be rolling on bigger wheels and get new paint soon.

Brad's Dime
Bradley Bell of New York is off to a killer start with his '97 Chevy S-10 Extra Cab. A set of 18-inch Boyd Gotcha Fury wheels and a mild drop with Helwig sway bars keep this truck looking custom. A Sir Michael's roll pan, Street Scene mirrors, and a shaved tailgate handle help to smooth out the lines of the truck. Tweed and paint cover the interior of Brad's S-10; and a gang of stereo equipment from JL Audio, Memphis, Alpine, and Blaupunkt keeps his ears entertained. Brad plans to 'bag the dime in the near future and would like to thank Al Whiting and his family.
