Congratulations to this month's Banner Contest Winner, David Peterson!

Blue Crush
David Peterson's '94 GMC Sonoma, affectionately named Blue Crush, is certainly more than meets the eye. Under the hood of this custom 4-inch-lowered truck from Grand Rapids, Michigan, lies a beast. The heavily modified Vortec 350 small-block engine has been fine tuned and built to move. David has added oversized 1-3/8-inch front and 7/8-inch rear sway bars, which gives this baby the serious handling abilities needed to match the insane motor work. This Sonoma rolls on a set of 17-inch American Racing 200S polished wheels, in combination with Yokohama P245/45R17 rubber. Five years, five businesses, three dogs, and two wives later, this 53-year-old minitrucker found the time to finally "git 'er done!"

Hardbody
David Hufford, from Hartsville Tennessee, brings us this unstoppable '97 Nissan Hardbody. Two months after David bought his truck, it was involved in a collision that completely crushed the front end. Not one to give up, David started to lay into the restoration process while simultaneously building a custom air-ride system. David crafted his own wheel tubs, brackets, C-notch, and four-link setup. Next, 17-inch chrome Escalade wheels added a nice touch, as well as the billet grille, clear side markers, and turn-signal lenses. David envisions a body-drop, suicide doors, shaved door handles, and custom paint for the future of his newly healed Hardbody. Good luck, David, and thanks for the inspiration!

Hot Wheels
Brad Garner from Augusta, Georgia, has been dreaming of his ride since he was a young boy. While playing with his Hot Wheels cars and trucks, he vowed that one day he would make his very own life-sized Hot Wheels truck. Now that Brad has grown up, he is the proud owner of an '00 Chevy S-10 that he has taken from an abused state and turned it into this show truck. Brad is representing the brand very well, taking the truck to shows all over and winning numerous awards. It's complete with a custom jet-gloss black paint, Xenon wide-mouth body kit, roll pan, fiberglass tonneau cover, metal cowl-induction hood, complete with a Hot Wheels logo, front grille with logo as well, chrome tips, followed by split pipes, a Flow Master muffler, a V-6 4.3 Vortec engine, and all rollin' on 18-inch Iroc chrome wheels, with a logo to go along with the theme. The hard work did pay off. Keep working hard, and you too can have a collection of your own life-sized Hot Wheels cars and trucks!
