1996 Ford Ranger

Done By MeThe '93 and newer Ford Ranger is a smooth truck that looks good no matter what custom direction it's taken to. Matthew Tucker of Bath Springs, Tennessee, created an even smoother look for his '96 Ranger during his class hours at Tennessee Technology Center, where he is studying autobody repair. At the Center, Matthew completely shaved his mini and painted it, earning class credit in the process. It took just over two months to take his mini from stock to the stylin' cruiser that you see here. Aside from the shaving and graphics, Matthew also added a lower valance taken from a Ranger 4x4 that housed factory driving lights and a pair of Street Scene side mirrors. Matthew says that for now, the low-down stance is achieved by installing DJM 3-inch dropped I-beams and 2-inch lowered coils up front and an axle flip kit in the rear. In the future, Matthew would like to install a full air ride system and a body drop to tuck the 18-inch Motegi Racing MR5s and 225/40ZR18 Sumitomo tires. The inside of Matthew's Ranger is just as trick as the outside. The dash has been treated to color-matched bezels that mimic the exterior of the truck.
