When building a custom vehicle, a few simple changes can often make all the difference in the world to the complexion of your ride. Jamey Jordan of Meridian, Mississippi, recently changed his wheels from a set of larger billet-style to smaller steel smoothies, and his '94 Toyota will never be the same again. With our sport evolving into a "bigger is better" theme, Jamey turned the tables on everyone by slapping on 14-inch wheels with 2-1/4-inch-wide whitewalls.
However difficult it was, Jamey nonetheless got through it, and his ride will turn heads and raise eyebrows all over the world soon enough. The truck is clean inside and out, from the suspension work performed by Kevin Holland at Konfuzed Kustoms in Gulfport, Mississippi, to the exceptionally clean interior by Beetle Hufmaster Upholstery in Meridian, Mississippi. Jamey did a good amount of the buildup, even though this was his first custom. He completed the sheetmetal bed and wheeltubs and recessed firewall, while Don Bracken of Innovative Customs in Meridian completed the major bodywork. When asked why he built the truck, Jamey said, "So I can drag." Well, drag on, Jamey!
